Cabramatta is regarded as the largest Asian community is Australia.  It is made up of predominantly Vietnamese speaking people, Chinese, Thai, Lao, Cambodian, Indian and also has many other cultural/religious backgrounds.  Other major groups of nationalities in the Cabramatta area are, Serbian, Bosnian, Italian, Maltese, Greek, German, Ukranian and Australian.

The Cabramatta Electorate consists of some of Western Sydney's most beautiful suburbs such as; Lansvale, Canley Vale, Canley Heights, Cabramatta, Cabramatta West, Mt Pritchard, Bonnyrigg and St Johns Park.

Apart from a huge assortment of commerce and industry,  we have a reasonable share of the tourism trade.  The tourism in this region consists mainly of Asian cultural and religious celebrations, fine Asian cuisine and plenty of colourful Asian spectaculars throughout the year.

The Cabramatta Electorate has a large variety of sporting fields/parks, of which most are associated with some of Sydney and New South Wales' largest sporting and community clubs (St Johns Park Bowling Club, Mt Pritchard Community Club, Cabramatta Rugby League Club, Bonnyrigg Sports Club and many more smaller clubs).

The population of this region are generally a thoughtful, caring , friendly and considerate group of people willing to assist a neighbour when needed.

Cabramatta is a maze of shopping arcades and streets consisting of hundreds of shops which offer customers almost everything they need.  There are other major shopping centres in our wonderful district; Bonnyrigg Plaza, Canley Vale, Canley Heights.  Lansvale offers a string of car dealerships giving customers the choice in new and used cars of most makes and models at some of Sydney's cheapest prices.
